Introducing… Andy Bowman AKA ‘Bowsa’
A renowned goal scorer for a number of Northern League club, Andy was instrumental in the success of North Shields FC helping to lead them to victory in the 2015 FA Vase win at Wembley during his eight year reign as assistant manager, before leaving towards the end of last season to join Blyth AFC

I previously played for North Shields before becoming assistant manager for them for 8 years. I have also played for Whitley Bay, Morpeth Town, Newcastle Benfield, West Allotment and Berwick Rangers

Best known for:
Scoring a hat trick against Newcastle United for North Shields. Also winning the FA Vase as well as a couple of other things!

What brought you to join Blyth AFC?
Ambition! It’s great to have been asked to be joint manager along with Mick. I’ll do everything in my power to continue the progress Mick and the whole management team at Blyth AFC has made. The vision and passion to climb the football pyramid as quickly as possible is inspiring, and together we will establish the club as a force both on and off the pitch.
